Formerly First Baptist Church of Minooka, we’ve been in continual ministry since 1834. Over the last 190 years, we’ve experienced a few name changes, met in various places and had different pastors lead us. As we press on, it’s easy to see we truly have a rich heritage, a bold vision and bright future.

Our booklet is a simplified Book of Prayer and can help you create a Rule of Prayer in your life. A Prayer Rule is a routine that incorporates prayers, Psalms, the reading of scripture, confession and thanksgiving into the hours of your day. There are many methods and versions of Prayer Rules throughout the Christian world. David prayed seven times daily, Daniel prayed three times, and Paul told us to pray without ceasing. Our guide will focus on two prayer times – Morning and Evening Prayer.
