Serving…

No matter your age or life-stage, there’s always a way to get plugged in at Christ First! Part of “loving your neighbor as yourself” is serving one another. Whether it’s as an individual, as a family or as a Small Group, we believe that God has called every person at Christ First to serve.

God has given each of us unique gifts… Take a look through the options below and find a place to serve this week! One of life’s greatest blessings is to have the opportunity to serve others.

HOSPITALITY TEAM:

This group includes ushers, greeters and Welcome Center workers who greet our members and guests, fix them up with a complimentary hot beverage, answer questions and welcome our visitors with a gift bag. The schedule rotates monthly and you must be at least 16 to volunteer.

NURSERY STAFF:

These ladies volunteer to help take care of our sweet babies and toddlers. The schedule rotates monthly and you must be at least 16 to volunteer. Background check is required.

TEACHING STAFF:

Our Teaching staff has lead teachers and assistants. Once a month, typically the last Sunday of the month, the teaching staff is given a break and a substitute teaches their class so they can attend our 11am service. On occasion, we have special services that begin at 10:30am and Sunday School is not in session. On those days, the Sunday School staff sits in on the main worship service. Background check is required for all teaching positions, curriculum is provided. There must always be two adults in the class. Teen helpers are allowed at the discretion of the lead teacher.

MEDIA BOOTH:

Our Media Team is responsible for running the video camera and taping each service so they can be added to our YouTube page, running the sermon and music slides and audio mixing.

MUSIC MINISTRY:

Each week, we try to encorporate the music talents of our church family, whether voice or instrumental. We have everything from guitars to flutes and violins to horns. We have many talented teen and adult musicians that contribute each week depending on what songs have been chosen.
